I did not know at the time when I painted this painting that the original photograph was very special to Sandie, but I sensed something special in the photograph. At one point when I was painting I decided to paint as it was in the photograph, so I sketched in the man standing on the bridge, but immediately I knew that I could not handle it, I could not handle the special energy in the photograph. Love Is In The Copper I love copper. I treasure every piece of my copper, including the copper dust I collected when filing the pieces. It is a great joy making models from copper tubing.
